Since ancient times, rumors have abounded of man-eating demons lurking in the woods resulting in the local townsfolk never venturing outside at night. Legend has it that a demon slayer also roams the night, hunting down these bloodthirsty demons. For young Tanjirou, these rumors will soon become his harsh reality when Tanjirou finds his family slaughtered and the lone survivor, his sister Nezuko, turned into a demon. To his surprise, however, Nezuko still shows signs of human emotion and thought. Thus begins Tanjirou’s quest to fight demons and turn his sister human again. In this film, Tanjiro and the group have completed their rehabilitation training at the Butterly Mansion, and they have arrived at their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared in a very short period of time. Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke, join one of the most powerful swordsmen within the Demon Slayer Corps to face the demon aboard.
